Supreme Court clears the way for President Trump’s border wall construction to continue using military funds. As stated in the dissent, this “may operate, in effect, as a final judgement.”
BUILD THAT WALL!
The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-to-4 decision Friday that the Trump administration could continue building portions of the southern border wall using funds diverted from the Department of Defense.
The ruling meant that the Supreme Court would not halt border wall projects that were challenged in 2019 and earlier this year, the Associated Press reported. The challenges came amid questions of whether the administration illegally sidestepped Congress in diverting Pentagon funds.–DailyCaller, 7/31/20
